My favourite places to visit in London!

It’s that time of the year where I think it’s safe to say that the Winter season has officially passed, and Spring is now upon us (yay!). Although the colder months always bring a very festive and cosy atmosphere throughout London, those frosty forecasts seem to make me hibernate and spend my weekends wrapped up in a blanket with a hot drink! However, come March that will no longer be the case, and I will resume my active appreciation for what is commonly referred to as, the best city in the world!

On that note, I thought I’d share with you my 3 all-time favourite places to go in London…hopefully one of them will entice you enough to pay a visit.

1. For some culture…
One thing London definitely isn’t short of is tourist attractions, ranging from the countless museums, to the city view on the London eye. However, if you are an avid art fan, then I’m sure many of you will agree that the National Gallery is easily one of the best go-to’s for a fabulous exhibition, or just a leisurely artistic browse! As well as being home to some of the most renowned paintings in the world, their ‘Be Inspired’ collection is simply amazing – especially for those with wild imaginations (like myself) who love making up stories about the portraits!

2. For great food…
Having been countless times and never had a bad meal, Zuma is easily my favourite place to eat in London. From the amazing quality of food and delicious cocktails, to the spacious layout and grand round tables, Zuma combines everything you need for a blissful evening with friends. Admittedly, it’s not the most purse friendly menu, but as a massive foodie I assure you it is worth EVERY penny!

3. For a little bit of everything..! Brick_Lane_street_signs
Last, but certainly not least, Brick Lane on a Sunday morning – a place I have been frequenting since I was a child! As stated above, this spot really does have a little bit of everything. Worldwide food stalls, vintage clothing and jewellery, constantly lined with people and surrounded by amazing street art, the atmosphere is never anything other than vibrant and lively.
They also have street performers every now and then which only adds to the experience.

I hope you all have a great weekend, and if you’re stuck for ideas on what to do, well…!
